Kambri Crews once lived with her deaf parents in a tin shed in Montgomery, Texas. She is the founder of the performance venue QED Astoria in Queens and author of the critically acclaimed best selling memoir, Burn Down the Ground. She spends her free time watercoloring, ice skating, and driving a Zamboni.
