Synopsis

As a teenager, Sarah is walking along a hill down by the river in her hometown when she witnesses an apparently homeless man with a large knife raping a young woman. The man wanders away without seeing Sarah. The girl begins screaming an unending primal wail. Sarah gets help for the girl, but then begins her disillusioning experience with law and order side of her town’s justice system. The rapist faces no justice.
