Synopsis

Cyndi’s first professional acting job after graduation is playing an elf for the Macy’s Christmas parade and festivities; the entire holiday pageant is run very professionally, with an intimidatingly Shakespearean Santa…until, at the end of the parade, the elves are supposed to release hundreds of live white doves from storage boxes, to fly up into the sky…and when Cyndi does so, she discovers dead doves in layers underneath the live ones—doves that suffocated while waiting for their moment. She’s horrified, and much to her surprise, Santa speaks up against animal cruelty to the highest-ups at Macy’s.
