Synopsis

Starlee gets a job in LA for a month, and has to rent a car. The first day she picks up the car, she’s talking to her sister on the phone, and gets distracted by her sister’s tale of this bizarre millionaire for whom she’s working, and Starlee drives off with the gas pump nozzle still in her car, nearly pulling the pump out of the ground and causing an accident. A month later, when she goes to return her rental car, the clerk at the rental desk flirts with her like crazy, but then stops when he sees that she’s got that gas station accident — resulting in a thousand dollars worth of damages — on her record. Starlee muses that the number of intense emotional switcharoos in her rental car experience reminds her of all the relationships she’s been in.
