Hey Kevin. I don’t know if Dixie reads these comments, but as a die-hard Risk fan, Dixie’s comment about her mom not hearing her reminded me of that story where that other person told her family about her own sexual assault…and they didn’t believe her. I remember her saying that it was basically denial, because it’s something so terrible they couldn’t bear for it to be true.
Tl;dr, I don’t hate Dixie’s mother for not believing her at first. I’m sad that it took so long for her to come around, but I’m happy she finally did.
