So ruthless…..how awful.
I am finding that the “in medias res” opening technique is being used so frequently on this podcast as to feel artificial. The stories are generally great, but those introductions are usually confusing and emotionally unengaging (to me). I’m already interested; I already trust that the story is going to be good. It’s okay if it doesn’t start with somebody I don’t care about yet being punched in the face by a feces-smeared clown! I will still listen.
