The Jen Kirkman rant is the worst thing I’ve heard on Risk. It’s not even a tale; it’s just a mess of ramblings. If she weren’t a “celebrity,” would this piece have been included in the show? Seems doubtful to me. I’d rather hear an interesting, well-told story by a nobody than self-absorbed ramblings from a name.
The music that you add with the show is absolutely wonderful and always fits in perfectly with the emotions of the show. Outstanding job!!
The Jen Kirkman story is the first time I have ever fast-forwarded through a Risk! episode.
Janine Brito..Wow! started crying a few minutes into it. Very powerful!
Matt Kirshen was so hilarious I had to listen to his story twice. 🙂
I don’t think Jen Kirkman is ranting at all. It registered as a refreshing take on monogamy, especially in the face of all of the expectations put on women to be caretakers. Jen Kirkman, I enjoyed it, thank you.
Yeah, I liked the Kirkman piece. It rang true to my own experience and it isn’t a topic that many have the balls to cover.
You guys are crazy. The Jen Kirkman story was great!
I loved this. The Kirkman story really resonated with me. Great podcast overall, too.
I love when you have Janine Brito on. Her storytelling is so amazing.
