Best one yet. Ghosts, home invasion, serial killers, mother nature, and exorcism – what more could you ask for?

Was that a witch cackling during the first story? Very on-theme.

Robin, I loved your story. I grew up in a haunted house too and my grandma also called a priest to “clean” it. Still laughing!!!

The woman in the exorcist story should lose all medical qualifications and I hope she is never allowed near patients again. It is one thing for randos to believe this BS or make up stories about it, but she can clearly do real harm and is delegitimating her entire profession.

The final storyteller is no longer in that line of work. She even explains in the story that her perspective is not kosher in that line of work. Something I say constantly on the podcast and everywhere the podcast is talked about is this: we ask the storytellers to present what they personally interpret to be what they personally experienced. We don’t necessarily endorse anything they say. We don’t necessarily condone their philosophies or choices. We don’t present anything as if our show is journalism or trial-worthy testimony. We all doubt or disagree with some of the things some of the people say on the show.

Erika’s story really scared me. And hearing it, I trusted her judgment and her take on what happened (in response to the comment above…). There are so many things we don’t know and that is what is interesting about hearing these stories, we learn about different perspectives and experiences and I love the fact that it broadens my understanding of the human experience.
I loved Robin’s story and had goosebumps all over when she described how she met this random stranger so far away from home who randomly asked her where she was from and randomly said they’d call his wife… wow, for me, it feels like it was no coincidence and that the man’s wife needed the message Robin delivered and that some angels made that happen. Love it.
