Kevin I loved your story so much I had sympathy dry heaves! It was really eye opening for me about being afraid of outcomes that may never happen. I’ll have to keep this story in mind whenever I get anxious. Thank you!
Thanks so much. I’m guessing some folks were a bit weirded out by it!
Kevin- loved your story, it’s a good metaphor for life in general. Also loved Meow Beautiful. Risk keep crushing!
Whoever the loud mouth was sitting close enough to Jamie’s mic while she told her story was extremely distracting. Other than that, great stuff this week!
Kevin! Loved your story in this one!!
Not weirded out here, a little envious. But BDSM is about respect for all participants. Most of the men respected you while having their fun with you. But the ones that didn’t were blocked. That is good. I love listening to your shows. I have laughed, cried and been made to think. I also did a spit take at my desk once I laughed so hard. Thank you. ((I’m glad you got the key in the end.))
Years after airing, but I’m going through the older episodes and I just need to comment.
I found Kevin’s story so reassuring. Not just in the general ‘overcoming anxiety’ sense, but in the literal – I’m also a gay kinkster, and I also get overwhelmed with social anxiety specifically around these events. I end up passing on a lot of opportunities because I worry I won’t have a good time if I don’t have a ‘playmate’ to bring with me. The fact that my social anxiety even gets to me in the place I’m supposed to be able to let my freak flag fly really bums me out. But knowing that even the awesome Kevin fuckin Alison feels the same sometimes? Maybe it’s okay.
I did not expect that a Risk! piss story was precisely what I needed to hear right now.
