Really enjoyed Kyla’s story. She is very brave to tell it. Thanks for sharing!
Chris Gray’s story is shitty…….in all the right ways…..I’m used to hearing stories like this, being married to a psych nurse for 28 years and Mr. Gray gives his account of a perfectly crappy day with all the humor and professionalism that is required for one to do that job. Kudos to him for putting the patient’s needs first…..and thanks for sugar coating a story that should make all of us a little more humble.
I’m so happy to hear an asexual person on Risk!! I’m asexual too and it really made me so happy to be represented! Thank you Danny for coming on the show and telling your story!
LOVED Kyla’s story, particularly as a women who hasn’t decided if I’d ever want to become a mother. Thank you for your vulnerability.
I understand about the whole hesitation over the “asexual” label. People tend to see you as repressed, so much so that it can be confusing. Listening to Risk is one of the things that helped me come to terms with my sexuality, or utter lack there of. It’s good to know what you’re not. And I always had a problem with seeing people as stupid for being controlled by their hormones. I’ve finally developed some empathy listening to other people’s stories.
Kyla’s story only solidified that I don’t want kids, which is good since I got my tubes tied. So brave to be honest with herself despite external AND internal pressures.
What are you serious about the police station and everything else to do with the coup in terror and everything.
