A Classic RISK! Singles episode. Almost 9 years since its initial release, we finally re-run one of the most popular RISK! stories of all time, Kevin Goes to Kink Camp.
This episode was completely eye opening (pun intended haha). I have been in a sexually unsatisfying relationship for more than a decade, and the knowledge that there are people out there who are well balanced and in touch with themselves gives me solace. Would love to know the name of this sexual Shangri-la, although I guess the universe meets you half way with these sorts of things, and often we get what we need not what we want. Regardless…. it was a fantastic episode.
Hey Mark. I have a theory that I’ve come around to since becoming very involved in the kink community, discovering lots of kinks and activities that were new to me, and finding a sex therapist through the Kink Aware Professionals network. The theory is that probably 90% of people, if not more, never really fully discover or explore their sexualities. I think the vast majority have fantasies, some conscious, some unconscious, that they never actualize. And I think that there’s an enormous amount of sexual curiosity, energy and potential that just goes unexpressed for most people. Most people are afraid to open that Pandora’s Box… or are not aware that all sorts of things are possible if you start trying things, remain open to possibilities, and remain optimistic. When it comes to this stuff, a lot of people start by exploring FetLife, or books like Playing Well With Others, or sex educators like Reid Mihalko, Kenneth Play, Princess Kali, or SexNerd Sandra. – Kevin
