In addition to working as an obstetric anesthesiologist, Hilary is a researcher whose main area of focus relates to improving perioperative care for LGBTQIA+ people. She regularly volunteers with CASIEF in Rwanda, helping to support their anesthesia residency training program. She’s also a crazy cat lady and collector of hobbies: pole dance, circus (partner acrobatics, lollipop lyra, trampoline), horseback riding, burlesque, paddleboarding, and west coast swing dance.
