Chelsea Dalsey

Chelsea is an artist working in multiple mediums, living in Philadelphia. Growing up gifted and under-parented, Chelsea developed quickly in some ways and not at all in others. Life has dealt her a range of experience—from childhood trauma, chronic physical and mental illness, and recovering from drug addiction, to the sudden deaths of multiple key figures in her life. Against every single odd—and there have been many—Chelsea has grown, overcome, and moved closer to being the most authentic and purposeful version of herself possible. One excruciatingly small change at a time. After being kicked out of medical school in her early 30s Chelsea pivoted and began to search for work that serves her highest purpose. She now pursues self-expression full-time through painting, sculpting, screenprinting, songwriting, movement and storytelling.
