“The Red and Itchy” … sounds like a great name for a hotel. “Welcome to the Red and Itchy, may I take your coat?”
i understand that jeffrey’s story was his own pov but as a transman i found it super problematic and misogynistic.
I would not recommend listening to the first story while brushing your teeth. For some reason I did this shortly after waking up, and like most people I tend to have dreams about losing my teeth so the opening sentence of Jean’s story felt surreal, which affected me physically. I ended up having a Chuck Palahniuk-level reaction to the story, i.e. after finishing the story and pressing pause, my consciousness smash cut to me waking up on the ground drooling and my right arm inside the toilet bowl.
Anyway, great story, great show, keep it up!
