  1. Loved this powerful story and what an ending

  2. spindrift that is

  3. Spindrift was intense. As someone who lost her father at age eleven (under less ambiguous circumstances- cancer), Laurel’s story really affected me. Thank you for having the courage to relate a really difficult experience. I’m really glad to see your Kickstarter project was funded.

  4. That was one of the most captivating and moving stories I’ve heard. Thank you for sharing Laurel.

  5. Loved the Spindrift story. It reminded me a lot of losing my father very suddenly (in a fire) when I was 15, right down to the late night knock on the door… it is very chilling. I think it was different for my sister who was 6 at the time, like you. She’s very quiet about it still, but I feel like you sharing your perspective helps me see her’s a bit better.

Also, wondering if Jordan Klassen was picked because he’s originally from smallish town Alberta? I’m from Calgary, Alberta and have been listening to his music for a long time, love his stuff, and certainly relates to a story taking place in the Rockies.
