Great show! Loved, loved, loved Toni Nagy’s story.
I think this may be one of my favorite episodes!
privileged white girl complains about a free trip to europe. great
The first few times I listened to Risk, I could not stand Kevin. I would skip over the parts when he was talking, he irritated me so…
I am so in love with Kevin now. He is an incredible human being and without ever meeting him, truly, I feel love for him. This podcast has done nothing short of change my life, and I look forward to it every week. Thank you, thank you, for all that you give.
Ekans, most of these stories are either someone going through something truly traumatic and disturbing, or white people complaining about trivial “first world” shit. Rarely do we get a happy medium. My faves were a guy telling stories of visiting a comic book store as a kid and Dana Gould’s story about his relationship with Vampira.
No food, no shower, and no winter clothes? Yeah, right. Keep dreaming, Toni.
