  1. Nooooooooooooo I want stories!!!!
love you, and your show but please less of this. xo

  2. Love it Kevin. Saw Wilco last year and the Future Islands year with Beck. Love the mix and look forward to next week’s show. Post Script, I’m sure everyone and their dog have heard of Shaky Graves but if not, lend him your ears.

  3. Your taste in music is only exceeded by your taste in stories. Fantastic! Every bit as satisfying as the stories here. Thank you.

  4. Music is great and all, but honestly that’s not why I listen to risk. Episodes like this are a major letdown and throw off my weekly podcast cycle. Now I don’t know what to do with my thursday morning!

Maybe do these as a fun additional piece to each episode rather than disappointing people who are coming here for the stories. I’m guessing these aren’t too hard to produce.

  5. Don’t listen to them, Kevin. These Best of Music episodes are the perfect break between story episodes. I am jamming at work as I type. I appreciate the range. 🙂

  6. As a relatively new listener, I always love the music selections and get minorly irritated that I don’t know what the songs are. But now I know that you do these Music episodes, which is awesome! Thank you!

  7. I really liked a lot of these songs…and hey, this was an episode of Risk! that I could let my kid listen to with me. HAHAHAHA. Never thought I’d say that. 🙂

I’ll be glad to get back to stories next time, but this was very nice!

  8. I adore the Risk Music episodes. Keep ’em coming! Does anyone have a spotify or youtube playlist they care to share?

  9. Thanks for putting this episode together. Love the stories but the music is big part for me too. Just awesome.

  10. Kevin! If you guys sold these as compilation albums on iTunes, I would buy them. They’re awesome mixes and it would be worth it to pay some commission in order to be able to download and just listen on repeat.

  11. Thank you for sharing such great music. Unfortunate Love was great enough to drag me over here to the website to figure out who the artist is and even contribute this comment (after sharing the video on facebook with a link to this podcast). Nicely done, sir!

  12. New listener after hearing you on WTF with Marc Maron. Great podcast. Love the music episode. I’m looking forward to becoming a regular listener.

  13. I LOVE the music episodes. They used to bug me, but now I save them for when I need to concentrate on something (and not listen to amazing stories).

I just started a Spotify playlist… if anyone wants to find it: Risk! Podcast Music

  14. I adore your musical taste, all of the music episodes go on repeat over and over again. Thank you for all the unique and super talented bands you introduce me to, and I LOVE THE SHOW SO MUCH!!!! Keep up the great work Kevin!!

  15. I love these compilations (even though I miss the stories) but I have one small request – could you publish the start time of each track next to it’s listing above? I hear a track sometimes and can’t identify it – would love to more directly support some of these artists! Thanks =)
