Hello Nerdmelt! RISK! LA Changes Venues
We’re very excited to announce that RISK! LA is moving from the UCB to The Nerdist at Meltdown, aka. NerdMelt. Yay! The venue’s address is: 7522 W Sunset Blvd, between La Brea and Fairfax, Los Angeles. We will be having shows there every fourth Thursday of the month at 8pm, except when that falls on a holiday when people are away, as it does in November and December.
The next upcoming live show is going to be Thursday October, 27th @ 8pm, so stay tuned for more details.
Melanie Hamlett pursues sexy Jesus and admits, “I Had The Passion For The Christ”

There comes a point in everyone’s life when the inevitable question presents itself: “Do I want to go to Disneyland and be around tons of strange people dressed up as cartoon characters? Or do I want to visit The Holy Land Experience religious theme park and be around tons of strange people dressed up as characters from the bible?”
Melanie Hamlett, in pursuit of the answer, finally reached a conclusion: Jesus is super sexy, and she wants his bod, bad. Darling listener, if you have ever been overcome by the desire to fuck a pretend Jesus in the back of your car in a parking lot, then you will love Ms. Hamlett’s story “I Don’t Know How To Love Him” on our recent episode Try. It is the story of one woman’s pseudo-love affair with a hot imitation Jesus.

And finally, here is a parting thought for you ponder, straight from my brain to my keyboard to your brain: Let’s say, hypothetically, that you are such a hardcore Christian that you have the desire to rock out at a religious theme park (Which is totally fine and great. No judgement here.), wouldn’t it stand to reason that you’d find it blasphemous for some guy to dress up and pretend to be Jesus? Just sayin…
